Earlier this term, led by the sixth form Interact charity team, The Deepings School students put together over 30 charity boxes for the Rotary shoe box appeal.

The boxes were packed full of gifts and useful items for less privileged children; from toddlers to teens.

The aim of the Rotary scheme is to “spread a little happiness to disadvantaged children and adults in Eastern Europe.”

The boxes were collected by Rotary today to begin their journey to spread happiness.

Well done and thank you to all students and families who contributed over the course of the week and to the interact group and the sixth form helpers who organised the collection.
