At The Deepings Sixth Form we are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive community that values kindness, respect, and ambition and provides a platform for academic and personal growth.
Our Sixth Form is a beacon of opportunity, designed to empower students as they embark on the crucial journey from adolescence to adulthood. Whilst our students are based in their own Sixth Form centre and enjoy more privileges than the rest of the school, we still believe they need boundaries, help and guidance.
Our pastoral care is integral to this: all our Sixth Formers are known and valued. They are looked after, helped and given increased independence and responsibility to make the the transition from school to university or work.
We offer a diverse range of A level and vocational courses, taught by dedicated and experienced educators. Our students achieve outstanding results, opening doors to prestigious universities and exciting career prospects. Our Sixth Form team facilitates access to impartial and professional careers guidance, supporting progression into whichever route our students aspire.
Beyond academics, we are committed to nurturing well-rounded individuals who thrive emotionally and socially and contribute to the wider life of our school. Through our pastoral care and enrichment programs, our students have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, participate in community programmes, and explore their passions.
Our Sixth Form is not just about the present; it's about preparing our students for the transformative journey that shapes futures. We ensure our students learn to take every opportunity to grow, challenge themselves and embrace new experiences whilst staying true to our values of Ambition, Respect and Kindness.
