Food for thought - cakes, cauliflower, crochet and clay...
BackNews
Year 13 Psychologists have been learning about the brain in their lessons and have been challenged to produce either a detailed diagram or model in order to demonstrate their understanding of brain anatomy.
There were some notable submissions – from cakes and cookies baked and decorated to show each of the lobes as well as skittles, cauliflower and clay. Some students even sewed or knitted their models.
All in all, students reported this was a great way to learn the structure of the human brain.
