We were delighted to host a talk on cancer awareness delivered by Cancer Research UK.

Many students can understandably be reluctant to ask or answer questions when sat with an entire year group, in a lecture theatre, with a guest speaker.

It was great to see the increased participation as student confidence has developed during their time in school. Our aim is for our students to become resilient learners, and that those who will be starting University later this year will go with the confidence to participate fully in lectures.
