On Tuesday 24 January, all Year 10 students completed a series of challenges relating to the world of work.

A team from the excellent Bright Futures Experiences organisation were in school to talk about the skills employers are looking for, the labour market and how it influences job creation and the economy and some great tips for preparing for interviews.

The range of recruitment processes were discussed and a mindful warning about what you share on social media!

With great links to numeracy and literacy, the sessions were very interactive, and the students achieved some great results, developing their teamwork, communication, negotiation and problem solving skills.

Thank you to our external partners, to the support provided by the Lincolnshire Enterprise Partnership and Eltek Systems, not to mention our super school staff who ensured the event ran smoothly.
