Last night, it was a pleasure to have students and their families join us to celebrate their DOfE success.

The DOfE Bronze and Silver candidates from year 2022 to 2023 were presented with certificates and badges for completing their awards. 

Mr Gray enlightened the audience with his tales of why DOfE was such an important stepping stone in his life and how he went on to support DOfE expeditions all over the world.

Megan Stickland (DOfE Regional Operations Manager) presented the certificates to students. It was fabulous to see so many students receing their awards.  Thanks too to the school staff team, Miss Housley-Stott, Mr and Mrs Baird-Parker and Mrs Goodchild for their invaluable support this year.

Huge congratulations to all candidates, both Silver and Bronze. I was delighted to hear that our Silver candidates are seriously considering doing their Gold award now, and am equally pleased that several Bronze students have put their names down for the Silver Award.

Overall a great year for The Deepings DofE.
