We were pleased to welcome back a member of our Deepings Alumni, as part of our KS5 programme of guest speakers.

Daniel Lansell left The Deepings School in 2019 and, after graduating from Lincoln University, now works for the Civil Service.

Daniel delivered sessions to Year 12 and Year 13 students outlining the wide range of opportunities available within the Civil Service. He explained the different pathways available and highlighted how apprenticeship and degree routes can both lead to the same destination.

It was rewarding to see a former student deliver so competently.  He definitely inspired some students to consider summer internships and opportunities which they can pursue after completing a degree or apprenticeship.
