UK Final of the First Lego League

On Saturday 22 April the school was represented by Amber Goodall, Casey Hammond, Esmay French, Sophia Mitchell and Jess Wright.
The team, supported by Lilith Page, travelled to Harrogate to participate in the UK Final of the First Lego League. The team participated in several challenges during the day these were:
- Core values (Presentation to a panel of judges)
- Robot Design (Presentation to a panel of judges)
- Innovation Project (Presentation to a panel of judges)
- Robot Game
- Graffiti wall
- White bricks challenge
The day was packed with tension and drama, especially the Robot game.
At the end of the day the team were placed 19/70 in the UK, but more importantly they won a judges award for the work they produced on the graffiti wall.
