I was shadowing 1-2-1 lessons (helping record music, giving ideas and feedback and learning about music and how to use the software). I got to make my own music and play around on a whole range of instruments. I also helped out in the office and got to see everything involved with running a business, from sending emails and invoices to delivering lessons and workshops about music and helping people with additional needs through music.

My week was very good, I enjoyed it a lot and would consider doing it as a job.

At my placement at The Exotic Pet Refuge my job was working with the carnivores, birds of prey, wild cats and wolves. I had to feed and clean out the animals, clean all the kitchens, fill up all the water bowls and put the new fruit and meat in the correct fridges. I worked with a group of volunteers who taught me how to do everything and helped me throughout my week. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my placement and would love to go back.

My work experience was very good and educational.  Working in fitness taught me about what goes on in personal training and how to teach. I also joined in with some of the sessions.  I enjoyed doing it and learnt how sessions are beneficial to your fitness.

For my work experience I went to a primary school and helped out with PE and in the early year classrooms. For the first half of the week, I worked with the PE teacher and help deliver lessons to the children. In the second half of the week, I helped out by working in foundation class where I helped the children with their work and reading.

I got to see a cat castration, an abscess being drained and dental work on a Chihuahua. I shadowed a few consultants, cleaning lots and helped on the  dispensary.

I did some very interesting CAD drawings met l lots of interesting people.
