Combined events

On Wednesday 24 May, the Inter boys and junior girls travelled to the PRSA athletics track in Boston to compete in the annual combined events competition. 

The event saw a scorching day, which was enjoyed by all, enhanced by some stand out performances by a number of athletes. 

In the inter boys category, Daniel Hutton, Archie Waterland and Josh Lang competed in the high jump, hurdles, shot putt and 1500m. 

The junior girls including Florence Hobbs, Kacey Bentley-Roberts, Eva Fraser and Sophie Gearing took part in the hurdles, high jump, javelin and 800m. 

A special mention must go to Dan Colangelo Allen for winning his category.

Well done to all who competed. You were a pleasure to take out on the trip and a credit to the school.
